Why i mask my hair

In one of my posts I mentioned that I am on a hair recovery journey. So the past month I went to the salon and the hairstylist told me that my scalp was dry. I don’t know what hair food she used on my hair, in any case I let her do everything. Seemingly because I thought… she’s a hair dresser and she knows what she’s doing. Only to find out that when I undid my hair, it was damaged at the back. Well, I learnt that castor oil mixed with coconut oil helps accelerate hair growth.

I have a patch at the back of my head that has hair thats shorter than the rest. Today was the first day I’ve used this mask and hopefully a months from now I can testimony this mask to be good who knows.

Natural oils have been well known for recovering hair loss or damage and both castor oil and coconut oil are one of those. Castor oil contains Ricinoleic acid, an Omega-9 fatty acid that is known to penetrate hair follicles to stimulate hair growth. While coconut oil removes sebum build up in the scalp and hair follicles, nourishing your scalp and in turn promoting hair growth. These two combined are known to work wonders.

So what I did was combine them along with honey and applied to my dry hair. I let this mask sit for about 30 to 40 minutes then washed my hair with warm water. I also used the organics shampoo for dry and damaged hair. Note: make sure your wash away all residue completely to avoid more damage. After the wash I patted my hair with a towel and let it air dry. I then applied coconut oil alone.

My hair is so smooth and moisture. The texture is wow. I will do this twice a week for a months. I hope to get good results.
